Quick & Easy Iced Coffee

Summer means time for iced coffee! If you’re in a time crunch and can’t cold brew iced coffee, then this recipe is for you. It takes less than 3 minutes and all you need is instant coffee.

Start by pouring your instant coffee granules into a sealable jar. Then, pour warm water in. You can pick up instant coffee either in serving size envelopes or in a jar. I use Folgers Instant Coffee, and a small box is around $2.00.

Shake the jar really well until it gets frothy. The jar may get hot from the water, so you may want to hold it with a towel or oven mitts.

Fill a mug with ice, then pour the coffee over it.

Add in almond milk or half and half and you’re all set! If you find that this is too watery, add two packets of instant coffee into the jar instead of just one.  You can also use flavored creamers if you enjoy flavored coffee or add syrups.

This is a quick and easy process that only takes a couple of minutes! I always keep instant coffee on hand anyway for those mornings when I’m running late, and iced coffee is the perfect way to cool down and relax on a hot summer afternoon.
